Bulls Bikes

Founded in Germany in 1994, Bulls Bikes is a full-line bicycle and ebike supplier offering road, mountain, hybrid, commuter, and urban models in both analog and electric versions. The brand entered the US market in 2015, when Bulls Bikes USA was established in Southern California. On the ebike side of its business, Bulls has not thrown all its eggs into one basket by working with a single supplier of mid-drive motors. Rather, the Bulls line features one of the broadest ranges of drive systems, including offerings from Bosch, Brose, Shimano, and—most recently added—the compact and lightweight Evation system from German manufacturer Fazua. The Bulls ebike range includes a host of Class 1 eMTBs—everything from a lightweight cross-country/trail model to long-travel trail slayers with huge battery capacity (even dual batteries)—as well as city/trekking ebikes and Class 3 (pedal assist up to 28 mph) “E-Speed” pavement models. Bulls has also been active in promoting electric mountain bike racing, including the company’s role as a title sponsor of the eMTB race presented at the Sea Otter Classic, the popular bicycle festival and expo held annually in Monterey, California.
